SHANNEL LIGON

Founder/Co-owner

Shannel Ligon is a Licensed Realtor and consultant. She has been helping business owners reach new levels of success for several years. Shannel attended and completed her High School Diplomacy at Renaissance High School, the #1 academic institution in the Detroit Public School System. Shannel tested highly on all standardized tests administered, affording her scholarships and other funding at Michigan State University.

An English major, psychology minor, with a focus in secondary education, Shannel also began working in the finance industry, processing and originating mortgages. Ever on the quest to bring added value, her accomplishments include having acquired her real estate sales license, followed by her life insurance producers license.

Monet Harris - Co-owner

Monét Harris has been a financial consultant, mentoring young businesses since 2008. A native Detroiter, Ms. Harris is a community organizer throughout the metro area. She has over ten years’ experience in the financial services industry as a FINRA licensed Registered Representative. 

Ms. Harris has committed her career to building financial literacy in the City of Detroit, and its neighboring areas. She is a member of the Redford Chamber of Commerce; The Global African Business Association; The Society for Financial Service Professionals and serves on the Board of Directors for the Highland Park Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Harris is committed to developing a strong financial culture for all residents for generations to come.

Faith Hollowell - Co-owner

Faith Hollowell is a native of Ypsilanti, Michigan. During her professional career she has shown a proven ability to lead a team and drive sales and business. For the last 8 years she has worked as a leader in the financial industry. In addition she is a business owner and a board member for multiple non-profit organizations. She volunteers within her community and is a 4-H (a U.S.-based network of youth organizations whose mission is "engaging youth to reach their fullest potential while advancing the field of youth development") leader. 

Hollowell holds an Associate Degree in Business from Washtenaw Community College, a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Marketing from Eastern Michigan University, as well as certifications in Business Sales and Marketing, Social Media marketing and E-Marketing from Washtenaw Community College.

Michelle Merritt - Co-owner

Michelle Merritt recently worked with the Detroit Restaurant Opportunity Center at Color’s Restaurant, the Southeast Michigan Small Business Development Center, and ProsperUs Detroit. She’s currently working on a number of community and professional projects, and has a successful track record in branding for business, artist and product brand development in Detroit and Charlotte, North Carolina. 

Merritt earned her BA in Communication Studies from the University of Detroit Mercy, her MS in Integrated Marketing Communications from the Eastern Michigan University School of Business and has begun earning her PhD in business administration at Northcentral University.

Terri Roquemoore - Co-owner

Terri Roquemore is a business entrepreneur who capitalizes in the literary and professional business writing industry. Roquemoore is recognized as a community advocate, professional liaison, motivational speaker, talent scout, and A&R professional. Roquemore has made a host of economic contributions to commerce. Radio, television, and print media outlets have all benefited from her work in communications.
